Jésus nous a enseigné comment prier (Matthieu 6:9-13), il nous a dit de toujours prier et de ne pas abandonner (Luc 18:1-8), il nous encourage à demander, à chercher et à frapper (Matthieu 7:7-11), il se levait tôt pour prier (Marc 1:35), il a montré comment prier (Jean 17:1-26) et, dans le jardin de Gethsémani, il a prié en vue de son arrestation et de sa mort (Marc 14:32-42). Jésus a donné l'exemple de la prière et attend de ses disciples qu'ils prient.

Jesus taught us how to pray (Matthew 6:9-13), told us to always pray and not give up (Luke 18:1-8), encourages us to ask, seek, and knock (Matthew 7:7-11), got up early to pray (Mark 1:35), modeled how to pray (John 17:1-26), and in the Garden of Gethsemane prayed in preparation for His arrest and death (Mark 14:32-42). Jesus modeled prayer and expected His followers to pray.
