Nous voulons tous que la voix de Dieu tonne dans l'air avec la réponse à notre problème. Mais la voix de Dieu est une petite voix calme... un doux murmure. Il y a peut-être une raison. Rien n'attire l'attention de l'homme comme un chuchotement. Le chuchotement de Dieu signifie que je dois arrêter de fulminer et me rapprocher de Lui, jusqu'à ce que ma tête soit courbée en même temps que la Sienne. Et alors, en écoutant, je trouverai ma réponse. Mieux encore, je me trouve plus proche de Dieu.

We all want God’s voice to thunder through the air with the answer to our problem. But God’s is the still, small voice…the gentle whisper. Perhaps there’s a reason. Nothing draws human focus quite like a whisper. God’s whisper means I must stop my ranting and move close to Him, until my head is bent together with His. And then, as I listen, I will find my answer. Better still, I find myself closer to God.
