Il est continuellement avec nous

Le Christ lui-même, dans toute sa gloire, sera réellement et continuellement avec nous. Nous n'aurons plus à nous contenter des simples descriptions de Lui que nous avons dans l'évangile. Nous le verrons face à face (1 Corinthiens 13:12) et tel qu'il est (1 Jean 3:2). Nous le verrons avec nos yeux corporels, car Job dit : "Dans ma chair, je verrai Dieu (mon Rédempteur), que je verrai moi-même et que mes yeux contempleront" (Job 19:25-27). Nos sens corporels seront restaurés et glorifiés d'une manière que nous ne pouvons pas comprendre maintenant, afin que nous puissions regarder le Christ et sa gloire pour toujours et à jamais. Nous verrons non seulement sa nature humaine, mais aussi sa divinité dans sa sagesse, son amour et sa puissance infinis. Cette gloire sera mille fois plus grande que tout ce que nous pouvons imaginer.

Christ Himself with all His glory will be really and continually with us. We shall no longer have to be satisfied with the mere descriptions of Him that we have in the gospel. We shall see Him face to face (1 Corinthians 13:12) and as He is (1 John 3:2). We shall see Him with our bodily eyes, for Job says: “In my flesh shall I see God (my Redeemer), whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold” (Job 19:25-27). Our bodily senses will be restored and glorified in a way we cannot now understand, in order that we may be able to look at Christ and His glory forever and ever. We shall see not only His human nature but His divinity also in its infinite wisdom, love and power. That glory will be a thousand times more than anything we can imagine.
