Le Christ "pour nous" est notre justification (2Co 5:21). "Le Christ en nous, et nous dans le Christ", est notre sainteté. La première est la substitution externe ; la seconde, l'énergie ou l'opération interne, qui prend sa source dans la première, mais qui ne doit pas être confondue avec elle ou substituée à elle.

Christ “for us” is our justification (2Co 5:21). “Christ in us, and we in Christ,” is our holiness. The former is the external substitution; the latter, the internal energy or operation, taking its rise from the former, yet not to be confounded with it or substituted for it.
