Dieu ne veut qu'une chose de nous : que nous vivions selon ses lois. Et il nous a montré comment le faire en mettant son Fils sur terre sous forme humaine. Ainsi, en imitant l'exemple du Christ, nous offrons à Dieu tout le culte qu'il exige.
