[Le Saint-Esprit] est présent dans son ensemble à chacun et entièrement présent partout. Il est réparti de manière infranchissable et on y participe comme à un tout. Il est comme un rayon de soleil dont la grâce est présente à celui qui en jouit comme si elle n'était présente qu'à celui-là, et pourtant il illumine la terre et la mer et se mêle à l'air. De même, en effet, l'Esprit est présent à chacun de ceux qui sont aptes à le recevoir, comme s'il était présent à lui seul, et pourtant il envoie sa grâce qui est complète et suffisante pour tous.

[The Holy Spirit] is present as a whole to each and wholly present everywhere. He is portioned out impassably and participated in as a whole. He is like a sunbeam whose grace is present to the one who enjoys him as if he were present to such a one alone, and still he
illuminates land and sea and is mixed with the air. Just so, indeed, the Spirit is present to each one who is fit to receive him, as if he were present to him alone, and still he sends out his grace that is complete and sufficient for all.
