Il ne cesse pas d'être Dieu parce qu'il devient homme, ni ne manque d'être homme parce qu'il reste toujours Dieu. Telle est la vraie foi pour la béatitude humaine, qui consiste à prêcher à la fois la divinité et l'humanité, à confesser le Verbe et la chair, sans oublier le Dieu, parce qu'il est homme, ni ignorer la chair, parce qu'il est Verbe.
