La rédemption. Celle-ci, promise dans l'Ancien Testament, s'est accomplie avec la venue du Christ, pleinement Dieu et pleinement homme, qui a vécu une vie sans péché et est allé obéir pour souffrir la mort sur une croix, mourant à notre place. Dieu nous sauve en acceptant le sacrifice de substitution du Christ comme paiement intégral de la peine du péché, et il a ressuscité le Christ des morts le troisième jour, annonçant à tous la justification et l'achèvement de l'œuvre salvatrice du Fils. Le salut est déclaré à tous ceux qui croient en son nom et le confessent comme Sauveur et Seigneur.

Redemption. This was promised in the Old Testament, but was fulfilled with the coming of Christ, fully God and fully man, who lived a sinless life and went obediently to suffer death on a cross, dying in our place. God saves us by accepting the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ as full payment for the penalty of sin, and He raised Christ from the dead on the third day, announcing to all the vindication and completion of the Son’s saving work. Salvation is declared to all who believe on His name and confess Him as Savior and Lord.
