Expliquez l'Évangile aussi parfaitement que possible et, malheureusement, ils ne le voient tout simplement pas. Le problème n'est pas nécessairement le présentateur. Le problème n'est certainement pas l'Évangile ! Paul dit dans 2 Corinthiens 4:4 que l'Évangile est "la gloire du Christ, qui est l'image de Dieu." C'est impressionnant, aussi bon que possible ! Mais à cause de l'aveuglement spirituel de l'individu (2 Cor. 4:3-4), incapable de voir la grandeur de l'Évangile, il n'y a tout simplement aucun désir sans la puissance habilitante de Dieu. Et si l'on ajoute à cette cécité un cœur spirituellement mort (Eph. 2:1), il n'y a absolument aucune chance qu'une personne, par elle-même, désire Jésus-Christ. En d'autres termes, les gens ne sont pas aveuglés parce qu'ils ont choisi de renoncer à l'Évangile. Les gens renoncent plutôt à l'Évangile parce qu'ils sont aveuglés par le malin.

Explain the Gospel as perfectly as possible and they sadly just do not see it. The problem is not necessarily the presenter. The problem is definitely not the Gospel! Paul says in 2 Corinthians 4:4 that the Gospel is “the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” That’s impressive, as good as it gets! But because of the spiritual blindness of the individual (2 Cor. 4:3-4), unable to see the Gospel’s greatness, there is simply no desire without God’s enabling power. And add to the blindness, a spiritually dead heart (Eph. 2:1), and there is absolutely no way a person on his or her own will ever desire Jesus Christ. In other words, people are not blinded because they chose to renounce the Gospel. Rather people renounce the Gospel because they are blinded by the evil one.
