Dieu se glorifie envers la créature également de deux manières : 1. En apparaissant à... leur intelligence. 2. En se communiquant à leurs cœurs, et en faisant en sorte qu'ils se réjouissent et se réjouissent des manifestations qu'il fait de lui-même... Dieu est glorifié non seulement parce que sa gloire est vue, mais aussi parce qu'il s'en réjouit. Lorsque ceux qui la voient s'en réjouissent, Dieu est plus glorifié que s'ils ne faisaient que la voir. Sa gloire est alors reçue par toute l'âme, tant par l'entendement que par le cœur.

God glorifies Himself toward the creature also in two ways: 1. By appearing to...their understanding. 2. In communicating Himself to their hearts, and in their rejoicing and delighting in and enjoying the manifestations which He makes of Himself... God is glorified not only by His glory being seen, but by its being rejoiced in. When those that see it delight in it, God is more glorified than if they only see it. His glory is then received by the whole soul, both by the understanding and by the heart.
