La repentance est un changement d'attitude à l'égard du péché et de Dieu, un retournement intérieur du péché vers Dieu, qui se reconnaît à son fruit - l'obéissance (Matthieu 3,8 ; Actes 26,20 ; Luc 13,5-9). C'est haïr ce que l'on aimait autrefois et aimer ce que l'on haïssait autrefois, échanger le péché irrésistible contre le Christ irrésistible.
