a perdu son statut sécurisé avec Dieu et a commencé à se battre
avec les sentiments d'arrogance, d'inadéquation et de désespoir, mettant en valeur plus l'opinion des autres que la vérité de Dieu.
La vraie valeur propre de l'homme a ainsi été dérobé à l'homme
et cela l'a placé dans une recherche continuelle mais sans fruits
pour comprendre à travers le succès et l'approbation des autres.

One of the tragic
implications of this event (Adam's rebellion) is that man lost his
secure status with God and began to struggle with feelings of
arrogance, inadequacy, and despair, valuing the opinion of others
more than the truth of God. This has robbed man of his true
self-worth and has put him on a continual, but fruitless, search for
significance through his success and the approval of others.
