La Parole de Dieu

La Parole de Dieu est le moyen principal par lequel les autres moyens agissent et sont rendus efficaces... Car tout ce qui est visible à l'œil est vague et vain sans la Parole de Dieu pour instruire et guider l'esprit. C'est la Parole de Dieu qui est effectivement mise en avant et appliquée par l'exemple, tout comme la parole du Seigneur a retenti dans d'autres villes de Macédoine et d'Achaïe par l'exemple de ceux qui ont cru à Thessalonique.

The Word of God is the principle means by which other means operate and are made effectual… For all that is visible to the eye is vague and vain without the Word of God to instruct and guide the mind. It is the Word of God that is indeed held forth and applied by example, just as the word of the Lord sounded forth to other towns of Macedonia and Achaia by the example of those who believed in Thessalonica.
