Le chemin de croix serpente à travers nos villes, nos hôpitaux, nos usines et nos champs de bataille ; il emprunte la route de la pauvreté et de la souffrance sous toutes ses formes. C'est devant ces nouveaux chemins de croix que nous devons nous arrêter, méditer et prier le Christ souffrant pour avoir la force de l'aimer suffisamment pour agir.
