Quand Dieu vous a sauvé, c'était avec la compréhension qu'il vous fournirait "la sanctification par l'Esprit" tout au long du chemin (2 Thess. 2:13), de l'intérieur vers l'extérieur, sa pureté et sa sainteté changeant votre cœur jusqu'à ce qu'il se manifeste comme pureté et sainteté en action. En vous abandonnant à Lui dans la prière, en l'invitant à faire Son travail, vous ne vous contenterez pas de la corvée épuisante et transpirante d'éviter le péché. Ce sera Dieu lui-même qui vous donnera la force nécessaire pour vous permettre, grâce à sa puissance de résurrection, de poursuivre passionnément la justice.

When God saved you, it was with the understanding that He’d be providing you "sanctification by the Spirit" all along the way (2 Thess. 2:13), from the inside out, His purity and holiness changing your heart until it comes through as purity and holiness in action. As you yield yourself to Him in prayer, inviting Him to do His work, it won’t just be the sweaty, exhausting chore of avoiding sin. It’ll be God Himself building up strength at your core, enabling you by His resurrection power to passionately pursue righteousness.
