La résurrection était effectivement une démonstration miraculeuse de la puissance de Dieu, mais nous ne devrions pas la considérer comme une suspension de l'ordre naturel du monde. C'est plutôt le début de la restauration de l'ordre naturel du monde, le monde tel que Dieu l'a voulu. . . . La résurrection ne signifie pas seulement que les chrétiens ont un espoir pour l'avenir, mais qu'ils ont un espoir qui vient de l'avenir. Le message surprenant de la Bible est que lorsque Jésus est ressuscité, il a apporté le futur royaume de Dieu dans le présent.
