Le message de la Bible apporte la seule réponse au besoin le plus pressant de l'humanité : connaître Dieu lui-même. Ayant été créé par Dieu pour Dieu, le "moi" ne peut jamais être "auto-satisfait". Pourtant, ayant perdu de vue le Dieu révélé dans la Bible, tout ce que nous pouvons voir, c'est notre moi, avec sa volonté futile de satisfaire ses propres désirs, toujours changeants mais jamais satisfaits, de plaisirs de seconde zone de ce monde.

The message of the Bible provides the only answer to humanity’s most pressing need: to know God himself. Having been created by God for God, the “self” can never be “self-satisfied.” Yet, having lost sight of the God revealed in the Bible, all we can see is our self, with its futile drive to meet its own ever-changing but never satisfied cravings for the second-rate pleasures of this world.
