Or, croire n'est rien d'autre que d'accepter le Christ pour ton Seigneur et Sauveur tel qu'il t'est offert dans l'Evangile ; et cette acceptation est principalement, sinon seulement, l'acte de ta volonté ; de sorte que si tu es sincèrement et cordialement disposé à avoir le Christ à ses propres conditions, aux conditions de l'Evangile, c'est-à-dire à te sauver et à te gouverner, à te racheter et à régner sur toi, alors tu es un croyant.
