La plupart
d'entre nous ont dû demeurer seul pendant des années pour témoigner
de la puissance de Christ pour sauver Son peuple jusqu'à
l'extrémité. Comme Josué et Caleb, nous devons suivre Dieu seule
quand nous le suivons totalement. Mais c'est la vraie victoire de la
foi et la preuve de notre fidélité sans aucun compromis. Ne nous
plaignons pas cependant quand nous souffrons des critiques pour notre
témoignage ou en restant seul pour Dieu. Remercions-le plutôt qu'Il
nous honore tant et nous fasse résister à l'épreuve afin qu'il
puisse au final nous utiliser quand la multitude seront heureux de
suivre.

Many of us
have had to stand alone for years witnessing to the power of Christ
to save His people to the uttermost. Like Joshua and Caleb, we have
had to follow God alone as we followed Him wholly. But this is the
real victory of faith and the proof of our uncompromising fidelity.
Let us not, therefore, complain when we suffer reproach for our
testimony or stand alone for God. Let us, rather, thank Him that He
so honours us and stand the test so that He can afterwards use us
when the multitudes are glad to follow.
