Le premier cœur à atteindre

Le premier cœur que la Parole de Dieu doit atteindre est celui du prédicateur. Nos concitoyens ne tireront aucun bénéfice de la prédication exposée si nous ne sommes pas nous-mêmes touchés par l'Écriture que nous nous préparons à prêcher. Il est impératif, lorsque nous traitons le texte biblique, que nous soyons personnellement changés par lui.

The first heart God’s Word needs to reach is that of the preacher. There will be no benefit to ourpeople from expository preaching unless we ourselves are being impacted by the Scripture we are preparing to preach. It is imperative, when we are dealing with the biblical text, that we are personally changed by it.
