Lorsque certains concepts sont attribués à Dieu, ils ne sont donc pas utilisés au sens figuré mais dans leur sens premier et le plus originel. Dieu n'est pas "pour ainsi dire" un père ; il est le Père dont découle toute paternité sur terre.
