Une réunion spéciale

C'est à la croix que la Loi de Dieu et la grâce de Dieu se manifestent le plus brillamment, que sa justice et sa miséricorde sont toutes deux glorifiées. Mais c'est aussi à la croix que nous sommes le plus humbles. C'est à la croix que nous admettons à Dieu et à nous-mêmes qu'il n'y a absolument rien que nous puissions faire pour gagner ou mériter notre salut.

It is at the cross where God’s Law and God’s grace are both most brilliantly displayed, where His justice and His mercy are both glorified. But it is also at the cross where we are most humbled. It is at the cross where we admit to God and to ourselves that there is absolutely nothing we can do to earn or merit our salvation.
