Comment prêcher avec autorité ?
Sidney Greidanus
[If] preachers wish to preach with divine authority, they must proclaim this message of the inspired Scriptures, for the Scriptures alone have divine authority. If preachers wish to preach with divine authority, they must submit themselves and echo the Word of God. Preachers are literally to be ministers of the Word.

L'inquiétude
James Fowler
“Concern” means to “have an interest in, give attention to, be engaged by a situation, as a matter of consideration or responsibility.” “Worry” is a disquieted uneasiness of mind, an anxious apprehension concerning an impending or anticipated situation; fretting about a foreboding misfortune or failure (“worried” and “anxious” are used as synonyms)… “Concern” becomes “worry” when we fail to relate the situation that confronts us to the source of sufficiency in God.

Une affirmation centrale
Brennan Manning
Nevertheless, the central affirmation of the Reformation stands: through no merit of ours, but by his mercy, WE HAVE BEEN RESTORED to a right relationship with God through the life, death, and resurrection of his beloved Son. This is the Good News, the gospel of Grace.

Focalisation interne
Christine Caine
It takes a huge commitment to stay focused these days. There are so many moving parts that need our attention and an ever-changing landscape that must be navigated. I’ve never had to work harder to keep the main thing the main thing. We need the wisdom and guidance of Holy Spirit.

Ce qui est le meilleur dans ce monde
Nothing in all the world is so good as the knowledge and love of Christ, and no pleasure that can be enjoyed equal to the joy of serving Him with all one's heart. Susan Warner

Se concentrer sur soi
John MacArthur, Religious Hedonism in Our Sufficiency in Christ, 1991, p. 157.
The more you focus on yourself, the more distracted you will be from the proper path. The more you know Him and commune with Him, the more the Spirit will make you like Him. The more you are like Him, the better you will understand His utter sufficiency for all of life’s difficulties. And that is the only way to know real satisfaction.
John MacArthur, Religious Hedonism in Our Sufficiency in Christ, 1991, p. 157.

Un besoin urgent
Jill Par
My sin is a stark reminder of my need for a Savior. If I let the weight of my sin pile on me, I wouldn't be able to move. Repentance is necessary but often, I let the voice of guilt and shame win and when they win, I stay stuck in unworthiness instead of letting Jesus heal, redeem and renew. No matter what kind of week you've had, no matter what bad choices you've made, no matter how much money may or may not be in your bank account, if you missed that payment, or maybe gained a few unwanted pounds, cheated, lied, yelled, stolen - remember that we have every right to run to the One who loves us, sees us and knows us intimately. Repentance is needed. Redemption is inevitable. Running boldly to His throne today. What about you?

Seigneur, fais-le en moi d'abord !
Hayley Braun
Lord do it in me first! Remove the limitations and labels from my mind and remove the impossibilities and hopelessness from my heart. Make me an instrument of your peace and reconciliation, attune my ears to your voice so that I can release with authority what you are longing to be seen.

John MacArthur
Discernment is nothing more than the ability to decide between truth and error, right and wrong. Discernment is the process of making careful distinctions in our thinking about truth. In other words, the ability to think with discernment is synonymous with an ability to think biblically.
John MacArthur
